Are the Dorman studs good to use or are the factory OLD ones better? 66 fastback

Dorman has been around for at least 50 years and have great products.

Finding some factory OLD ONES of the correct length for retrofit brakes is difficult. Dorman studs work fine.
For COBRA or GT brake conversions, use .627" knurl 610-368 (1-31/32" long) or .623" knurl 610-441 (2-3/16" long)
Both have dog point, so actual effective length is about 1/4" less than stated.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
