mass air question with efi 5.0 in 66 mustang

Here I go again with what may sound like a dumb question. As I said before I am in the middle of putting a 90 model 5.0 motor and 5 speed in my wife's fastback. I did not get the maf sensor with the motor but do have everything else including the a9l ecm. I went to Napa to get a new maf just as I did with my grand national. My Napa parts guy shows what looks like 3 different maf sensors in the computer. Can y'all please tell me which one I need and perhaps a part number.
Thanks Darren

Re: mass air question with efi 5.0 in 66 mustang

I usually look at rockauto.com if I need a part number and usually order my replacement parts from them. They list this Motorcraft P/N for a '90 5.0L MAF: F1ZF-12B579-AA

Re: mass air question with efi 5.0 in 66 mustang

In 1998 I started out getting  stock system parts on flea bay. Then as I began to up grade I bought parts on Corral.net & Stangnet Classifides. Most of the guys selling there aren't going to risk their reputation on the forums by ripping another Stanger off. YMMV Stock HO stuff is dirt cheap.
If your using a stock HO system use a 70mm MAF(the trick used to be fiind a 93-95 Cobra 70mm MAF and use it with the 19lb inj, the MAF is for 24lb inj only when using a X3Z Cobra puter, for an A9L/A9P its fine fr 19ib inj's) fer upgrades, I'd jump straight to an Exploder GT-40 cast intake, 65MM TB. Come to think of it a I have a "ported" Exploder 65mm, that has been regulated to the shelf. Heh heh this is the path to a 331 stroker.
