Tranny seal around input shaft

So now that I have the neutral safety switch, soleniod debacle finished, I have to fix what I broke fixing what wasn't really broke.
Anyway, the seal around the shaft that the neutral safety switch is attached to is leaking, a good amount. How hard is the job to go in and replace those seals.
Also, here is a tip, if the neutral safety switch does not slide on easily, DO NOT try and tap it gently with a rubber hammer, turns out it may wreck the seals...go figure.

Re: Tranny seal around input shaft

There was a thread recently about how to replace the selector shaft seal.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

I have tried several searches, no luck, Does anyone remember the author of the thread? Or what the topic name may have been?
Thanks
