Did you figure out your problem with the 'vert?

Sorry I forgot to post results.  I changed fuel filter and it's running fine! added injector cleaner and will add another next fill up .  The gas was black that came out of the filter.
If any of you need to change one of these filters it takes a special tool to release the clips on the fuel line.  I went to Auto Zone for a new filter and got a lecture from a highlty educated very well paid counter guy about how I have to run high octane fuel thru that car and how I should never use Seafoam fuel additive blah blah blah.  He said Lucas was the bestest blah blah blah. guess what they sell lucas and not seafoam.

All that talking and he failed to tell me about that special tool and maybe he had one for sale or loan!!

Re: Terry

Not that the tool for the quick disconnect is expensive,  but in a pinch with no tool around, the tip of a sharpie cap works perfect to make a tool to remove the fuel fitting.

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.
