Just wanted to say: got my kit (=14pxPart # =18pxBBK, =18pxBearing Conversion Kit) from Steve--the pedal travel is like butter now! Really like the repair and how the pedal cluster feels...this is My '69 Cougar, which is a big, heavy drum car with a stiff, old-style clutch, and it's only about 100,000 times better now. Nice upgrade!

X2.
Steve recently rebuilt my pedal assembly for my 65 and it's hard to believe how well both pedals work now. Thanks you Steve.

Do you have to remove the steering column to get the pedal support out and the new one in? I'm interested in doing this but I have never taken it out before. I'm doing it in a 67 coupe.

On a 67, it is alot easier to get the pedal support out if you drop the column down. To do so remove the three bolts holding the steering box to the frame rail so the coulmn can drop down. On a 68 there is a plate on the firewall that must be removed to drop the column.
