Bearings are fine you can use Altima rotor calipers. Rotor centering ring And bracket I designed a bracket for that awhile ago.

If you are going to upgrade to V8, you should consider getting your 8V front end parts first. If not you will be buying another disc brake set up after changing your front end to V8 parts.

I agree. Your first task should be to convert to V8 front spindles and V8 rear end. Then when the time comes to install the V8, you won't have to do it all at once. It would be unsafe driving a V8 with six cylinder brakes and a rear end that would shatter and leave you stuck in the middle off the highway or intersection.
That way, even if you NEVER get around to cnverting to a V8, you will have a much more reliable car that has better brakes.
Unless you PLAN to keep it a six forever, I would not spend any money on six cylinder brakes.

I agree. get the v8 brakes and suspension. But if you must have 4 lug disks, SSBC has a bolt on kit. Proven; quick, easy, and more expensive than do it yourself like 74yamaha.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
