Planning to fabricate my own monte carlo bar together with my DIY subframe connector this weekend. Does anyone have a default width wall to wall where the monte carlo bar mounts? Need to make sure I have default width instead of 40 years plus sagged width.
Thanks in advance!!

Found the answer, it's 40" in case anyone wondering about the same thing.
I am a happy man, mine is exactly at 40", no more no less....

I just happen to have the MC bar off the car right now. I measured it inside to inside of the bracket, right at the top. It measures 39-7/8". Pretty darn close to 40".
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
