Congrads, hope all works out well. My magic number 55, and I'll reach that in September. After that, I

Re: Retired!!!

Congrats!!!
I tried to do that the end of 2013. Left my job of 31 years to keep doing what I was doing. The best part is now I can set my own schedule and say NO! Now I only do the fun jobs and love it. I get to take care of my Grandkids a couple days a week and work a couple days and Gee, there is a day left!

Congradulations enjoy yourself, since my youngest is 11 I can retire at 75 unless the powerball comes in.

Re: Retired!!!

Congrats on retirement!  I would have posted sooner, but my internet has been down.  Hopefully, you will find the time to work on your car.   Because its funny how it seems like more things get accomplished the less time you think you have.  Retirement is one of those weird paradox's like that.

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.

Well Done!  Enjoy it - do all the things you've always wanted to do - not just the ones in front of you now.

Re: Retired!!!

Congrats. Enjoy the time. I retired in 2011 and unfortunately  after 8 months could not handle it. Been back to work ever since but good knowing I can quit any time I want. Also did not have my 65 mustang at the time.
