Looks like it’s time for me to get started with some assemble work once I can get past the month of March. Our youngest daughter has us busy with two First Robotics competitions and a trip to Fort Worth for bowling in the state finals.
Interior color
A shot from the side
Then the front
And the rest
AAA gets it to the house!!

Looks great, just a bit more pain in the interiorand then assembely.
Is the hood from Maier Fiberglass? The gills set it appart. I've had one one for my 65 2+2 for a year. Just too busy aquiring suitable patina to get to a body shop stage. It'll be due by the end of this years bash.
Planning on having your coupe ready for a short drive to the "Hill Country", in September??

What is that color?
I once saw a "Sea Foam Green" 68 convertible and it was absolutely gorgeous!
If I had it to do over again thats the hue I would choose.

The hood is from Maier Racing. I like the look of the gills too and it will help get some of the heat out from under the hood. There was some work that went into the that hood too. Bruce cut the sheet metal portion that the hood latch bolts to from an old rusted hood that I picked up and glassed it into the Maier hood. It makes for a sturdy system and gives some adjustment on the latch. He also had to cut and glass an area for the hood latch release lever. It was hitting on the underside near the nose of the hood.
I hope to have it drivable by the end of the year. Not sure if I will have it ready for the bash.

Its the factory Lime Gold Green. I'm a sucker for green cars, not sure why.

Yeah the gills vent underhood heat, and I've had my current version of the hood (same scoop, though no gills-Not Maier Racing Glass) At highway speeds the hood bulges up along the fender. Not sure if it's due to low pressure lift or high air pressure under the hood. I figure either way the gills would solve the problem.
With that said could you take some photos of the mod that were made to the hood?? I think I did the test fit with hardware installed. However I'd like to see yours anyway.

And on closer inspection I see your interior is painted(Parchment??) instead of just being primered. Good to go.

Looks good and I have a suggestion. Paint the entire under dash area white as well, it will make things better when you are working under there later on.

Looks Great!

I wish mine would turn out as well. Now the fun begins!

Tubo,
Here are some pics of the hood. They are not the greatest in the world, but you get the idea.
Edit for spelling

Even with the best fiberglass there is always a bit of tweaking to be done.
