Did you ever resolve this issue? I have been researching Lance's Randall's rack issue, and I noticed there seems to be some changes made for newer racks. Newer racks seem to use a modern inner tie rod set up, and I also noticed that there is now a curved tie rod connector that needs to be used for 67+ and 65/66 that have the bumpsteer kit. Looks like in your picture, yours falls in that category.
