There is now a sturdy bolt on top piece for the rad support with a bolt and dowel on each end. Also there is a cross brace in front of the distributor that ties into some 1.5 X .095 tubes under the fenders and aprons which go from the frame horns to the firewall. Since I routed all the wires and such through the tubing, there is very little to move to get an engine in or out. Hood stays on!

im not sure who you were directing your post to but as for me, i would love to go, plus my brother lives in san angelo so i could vsit him too, but unfortunately its not going to be possible . . heres a photo of one of my cars anyway . . some others aren't quite finished yet . . the engine bay and undercarriage are painted body color also, and the engine is silver with lots of polished aluminum etc..

Steve, The fans and shroud came with the radiator. I bought it on ebay,  don't recall the seller but I do remember he was in Iowa. 


The amount of fun is directly proportionate to the damage done.
