What's the preferred speedo cable for the T5 swap in a '67? Modern Driveline sent me a cable for a '65/'66 with the gear I spec'd installed (black gear). The gear end definitely fits the T5 side, though I'm not keen on the hold down arrangement (I can easily modify it to where I'll be okay with it though. My concern is length, routing, etc.

Most reuse the original c4 cable

If the 67 is like the 65/66, then the C4 and 3-speeds ran down the left side, whereas the 4-speeds ran down the right side and were longer. They also had different cabin entry holes and mounting clips. So you have to decide how you want to route the cable, considering the cabin entry hole you already have and any brackets/clips, which will determine which length cable you need.

When I installed my T5 from 4 speed mine was a little long. I wrapped a few times around the crossmember and attached it with wire ties to pick up the slack. Steve69

You wrapped your speedo cable around the crossmember a few times and it still works?

The stock cable is for a C4. Thanks for the replies.

No problems with it and works great. Did the same when I had the 4 speed transmission. I just made sure there was no sharp angle or anything that would bend the cable to much.

I had installed the new cable a few years ago. The thought of pulling the dash out and trying to get a shorter cable in there was just not something I wanted to do again...LOL.
