Thanks, Greg. For a minute there I thought I was going to turn out being the youngster of the crowd! Turning 60 next month, if my kidneys allow!

I'm gettin' too old for this......
..... Took three months to get started after putting the car on jackstands. Took a day to get the column out and the box released from the frame and to learn that the box was not going to come out the bottom like I had hoped. Then it sat for three weeks before I went out and pulled the engine and transmission so I can pull the steering box out (plus some time to retrieve several sockets and fasteners that dropped from above the engine straight into the little 2" hole of the exhaust pipe laying on the floor under the engine). Add another two weeks not wanting to work on it. Yesterday I spent an hour to install the replacement steering box and geez-knows how long it will be before it''s all back together. ...
Don't feel so bad John. I bought my GT fog lite kit the last of December. I fumbled around and got the lites with modified grille in and ran the wiring thru the firewall. That only took three months. I am just now, 6 months later, starting to get to the wiring in the dash. All this for what the CJ Pony installation video says is a three hour job! Then there was my 15 year heater box job!

Since we are all comparing notes... Im 47. With an illeostomy Ive had since age 28. I also have psoriatic arthritis, diabetes from the extreme medicine that I was given to treat other issues that messed up my pancreas, macular edema, two herniated discs in my back and weight issues. (I take full responsibility for the last part.) I could more to deal with that. I just had shot #6 in the eye Friday since last years bash.
I still havent given up the dream......Its your will, not your way that gets it done.
Greg,
Even with all that you're dealing with, you're still out there chipping away at your projects which inspires me...
My aches and pains are trivial in comparison........I'll not complain of them again....

Ok you guys, you all are in vary stages of decreptitude, but be proud you can still do it even if it hurts and takes a little longer, if you did get someone to do it for you it would probably not ever be right and turn ya into a grumpy uh young fellar

Well, old and slow finally muddled through. The dash is back together, all the new wiring tied up neatly and the fog lights are blazing. btw, the speedometer reattachment was as easy as it's detachment.
Now for the next Mustang projects, other than a possible 4bbl/cam installation, I'll have to wait until next Dec or Jan when CJ Pony has their 30% off sales. I need seat belts and bright LED back up lights, for starters.

....and that is the unvarnished truth! I'd of hated to see what some unter menschen would have done with my engine compartment and underdash wiring for both my fog lights and previously my Rally Pac installations.
These aftermarket repro kits give you good, correct electrical connectors but they also give you yards of excess wiring that you do not want to cut the excess from because you will lose the good connectors. Soooo, you need to tie up the excess, neatly and discreetly.....and most would leave a virtual rats nest.
