I'm sure you guys remember this car...

Stopped by the shop today to watch the clear going on.... a few days to cure and buff, then she can come back home.
Must be last Thanksgiving already, because that was the first promised completion date.
Hopefully I'll feel up to reassembling her right away..

Looks good. That's gonna be a sweetie.  I sure hope you do better than I did.  So far it's taken me over a year to get it put back together.  I usta was much faster.

As long as it is RIGHT when you get it back, don't fret about the extra time.

Thanks guys. I agree, MS. I always cheerfully accepted the delays, reiterating I'd rather have it look great than done quick....I'm reserving final judgement until after its buffed.

Are those vinyl stripes? Can clearcoat be layed over the vinyl stripes?

That's what I thought. I've never seen a side stripe stencil, but I have seen them for the racing stripes.
