EFI Wiring Harness for 5.0L in 1966

Can anyone give me guidance or your experience on a vendor for a wiring harness to put a 5.0L in a '66 Mustang. I want the best value (good quality / trouble-free service / price).
Thanks, Larry

Re: EFI Wiring Harness for 5.0L in 1966

It has been ten years since I bought one, and I don't know if the company is even still around, but I got it from fordfuelinjection.com. It was very good quality and had a relay bank that mounted on the inner fender.  I paid $500 for it and it was plug n play with no problems.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Unfortunately fordfuelinjection, and then oldfordinjection.com are gone.  You can get about the same harness from ronfrancis.  https://www.ronfrancis.com/products.asp?dept=295

There is some good info about the swap at the BC Broncos site, too.

What year is the 5.0? '94-'95 are different from '93 back.

Re: EFI Wiring Harness for 5.0L in 1966

I'm currently using the painless HARNESS. It is trouble free and very easy to install plus the strip out all the unnecessary wiring.  There is an article in (muscle mustang and fast fords) written awhile ago on how to splice in the factory HARNESS from a Fox MUSTANG.  I went that route along time ago with no problem but took several days to get it right. Defiantly a cheaper route if you have the time

TxStretch-  I have a new Ron Francis (Detail Zone) # MG-90 harness for '94-'95 swap. If that's want you need, PM me for a great price.
