Re: Going across the block

I'm going to guess his Reserve is in the neighborhood of $125,000. Workmanship looks topnotch, but I question some of his design decisions.

Very tactful post. You would never know that your sitting in a Mustang.

Re: Going across the block

It has been on and off Dallas craigslist for last two years. I'm with Hornman. Ramses probably could have made that a nice car.

Do you mean it should have been "everybody-loves-blue"?

There are no Mustang logos on the car that I can see, but there are at least ten "Cobra" logos. When I see him at the auction I will try to ask him what he means by that.

The car is scheduled for auction on Thursday, which means he didn't pay the extra money required for the "premier" time slots of Friday or Saturday. Still trying to sell the car on the cheap.

Re: Going across the block

I'll take the headliner redone in black and the engine. No, I'll take the headliner redone in black with a pony logo and the engine.

Re: Going across the block

If you remove all of the Cobra logos it's not a bad looking car just not my thing. Oh yeah, the headliner is as ugly as the north end of a south bound mule.

Re: Going across the block

I noted a couple of vehicles listed to go across the block that I wouldn't mind having..........and (gasp) they're not Ford products.....

Not gonna make  it.  I've spent the last 3 months working up the road from Corky.

Re: Going across the block

Its basically what you get when you build a Mutang like a street rod.  The dash is not to my taste, nor most of the interior.  The engine looks clean.  It would be nice to see some pics of under the car.  I assume its equally clean and well executed.

Now the "Cobra" logos all over it really piss me off.  This car isn't a Cobra, it isn't even a Shelby, and if Carrol didn't bless the use of the name, which we all know he didn't, its basically taking advantage of the fact that he's dead and can't sue you.
