I was price shopping the other day for some sheet metal parts. They ended up being much cheaper and had free shipping. The only problem is I got an Email notification from them the next day ,telling me all 4 items are on back order? I called and asked about why there web site doesn't tell you weather or not what your ordering is in stock or not . All the guy kept repeating to me is "I'll have them check it out" ...

I order from them and occasionally they will backorder parts, but they usually then deliver those parts very quickly. I bet you get your parts pretty quick. I wouldn't worry. Mike

CJ is my "go to" Mustang part source. Yes they do have to back order some items but I have never had an issue with that. If really need the part badly and they are out of stock I remove it from the order and see if I can get it elsewhere..
For us Canadians they have free shipping on some days during the month which is a big deal.
They also have a reward program for money spent. I got a 180 dollar shock tower brace for our 05 that was on sale and using my bonus bucks ended up paying 35 dollars with free shipping, can't beat that deal.

Have ordered occasionally. Have also gotten back orders but they always come thru pretty quick.

They are a great compnay to deal with. EVERYBODY has parts go out of stock occasionally. It would be alot to ask to have someone update the site, unless they have the website tied to the inventory like SUMMIT does.
I bet you get your parts really quick. Every time I have a part backordered as part of a larger order, I get a phone call telling me it will be shipped as soon as they get it, and that has never taken more than a week.
I ordered a couple of parts from Dallas Mustang over a month ago. One piece was BO and is STILL backordered. I called and cancelled it today. I only ordered from them because they are nearby and the parts usually show up on my porch the next day. THAT one backfired on me. Same two parts from CJPony were ordered that same day. One was backordered and showed up three days after the first part.

For me in Texas. I get free shipping, no taxes and the bonus program pay back. I had one issue with a single part that they had mismarked all of the parts incorrectly, after several send back I asked to speak to a manager, he promptly went back to the warehouse and confirmed their entire stock was wrong. Thanked me for helping figure it out and made sure I got the right part. I received emails and phone calls to make sure I knew I was being taken care of. Unless I need something immedeately I avoid going into Dallas Mustang. Their staff that works the front desk are apathetic towards customer service.

I have used them a lot and continue to use them a lot however they do seem to back order items More on average then other companies..however I get personal phone calls from them when this happens and they seem to be a pretty good business to deal with. if I'm going to buy something from them when I do now is call them ahead of time to see if it's backordered
