See CALENDAR FORUM for how to submit your photo. EVERYONE should submit a picture of your car. Cars always look better in a picture than they do in real life. Craigslist proves this theory every single day!
First of November begins the annual MustangSteve calendar competition.
Get some great shots of your Mustang so they are ready to submit.
Photograph the sunny side of the car, not the shadow side.
Use highest possible resolution.
Watch for weird lighting from shadows, etc.
Try to not have a tree or pole in the background that looks like it is growing up from your car
Backdrops that are a long way away from the car work best.
Consider the picture will be cropped to maximize the size of the car. Tall objects like signs or flagpoles cause issues.
No people allowed in the picture, unless they are not identifiable easily. (If you are in the car doing a burnout, that is OK, just no babes on the hood type pics.)
Instructions on how the calendar competition works and how to submit pics will be posted Nov 1. Please do not send any pics prior to that.

Steve, will you be posting instructions or should we just be posting our pictures in a repy to this topic? Just don't want to miss out. Thanks

You traditionally email them to Steve with Calendar in the subject line. I'm sure he will brush off the old page detailing it shortly ;)

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
