    66 speedo cable

    Can anyone show me how the speedo cable is routed from the tranny to the cluster on a 66 fastback?  What hole in the firewall do I use?

    Looking at my '65, the speedo cable appears to exit the toe panel (below the firewall) at about the 4/5 o'clock position to the right side of where the steering column exits.

    It depends on your transmission.  There's a thread here (http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/vintage-mustang-forum/631920-65-3-speed-versus-4-speed-speedometer-cable-routing.html) that provides the information you need.
