z-bar install

67 Mustang, 1972 302 with a T10 4 speed tranny. Equalizer bar installed, but not sure if the right one. Looking for dimensions. Also looking for a picture of the correct upper and lower rods. Have misc. parts in a bin from the swap meet. The equalizer bar hits the Tri-Y headers at the attachment point of the lower rod. What should I do? Shave some of the equalizer bar back, dent the headers?
