I would skip the Shelby traction bars. They are not really that effective. I had some on my car for many years. Ride quality greatly improved when they were removed. Installation of 4-1/2 leaf reverse eye rear springs REALLY made a difference. No wheel hop and a good ride quality,.
Weld-in subframe connectors do make a difference, especially in handling. But, they need to be welded in way up into the front frame rails to really do any good. Easy to do if you remove the floor beams and reinstall onto the frame connectors.
Big cam? most eventually grow out of it, but if you love it, you love it. Once you get the AC installed, the priority of a big cam diminishes when you have to shut off the ac to idle in heavy traffic.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
