Car Covers.... Covercraft or Coverking

I'm looking at indoor use only custom car covers and the selection is confusing. The Coverking Satin stretch looks the best, but I've seen some pictures that shows them being fairly thin and almost see-through on some cars. The Covercraft dustop looks pretty ugly, but offers great ding protection. Anyone own either of these? opinions? The video from CJ pony parts shows the Coverking like it's an amazing cover but they don't compare it to the closest competition. What are you guys using?

Covercraft Evolution.  Breathable.  Very nice fit.  I don't believe it would provide a lot of dent or ding protection.

Re: Car Covers.... Covercraft or Coverking

I've always used Cal Car Covers - on at least 6 cars with great results.  They fit perfectly.  My '66 has had one for several decades with no problems.

If you're just wanting something to keep the dust off in the garage during the winter Walmart sells great covers and they're much less expensive (just like buying Harbor Freight tools:-).  They don't offer any ding protection but you can get a couple of pool noodles to hang on the side or stand up sheet insulation along the side of the car.

Re: Car Covers.... Covercraft or Coverking

If you are putting your baby to sleep in the garage, I would add quilts and door protection before the cover. You never know when momma wants to rest her shopping bags on the 'stang.  Mind you, our garage is fairly heated so not much issues with moisture.

Speaking of quilts.  I use moving blankets hanging from roofline to protect door dings.
