anyone here have anything good to say about these tires ? i was going to buy a set of P275-60R20 for my truck so i deside to check the reviews on these tires!! Wow the reviews for the most part suck, most dodge ram and other truck owners are saying do not buy these tires, dangerous in the rain and they wear out easy and fall appart..... i could not believe it! so i thought i would ask here and get your feedback. thanks

I didn't have that particular size, but I had goodyear wranglers on my old 94 f150 that I had up until 3 years ago. The tires weren't the best in snow and they weren't that good on wet roads either. I remember sliding around a corner the first day I got them. They did last a long time however and did not fall apart.

I have them in 265-70-17 on my 2005 Ram 2500 and am pretty happy with them. They aren't the best I've ever had but are far from the worst. I'd buy another set without hesitation.

I have Wranglers on my 2012 Ram 1500. can't say I have any complaints, I've never noticed any problems in rain or snow

Spend the extra and get Michelin's. Every vehicle I put them on the change was like night and day. This includes customer cars and trucks. They solved all the drivability complaints on new vehicles by switching to the Michelin's (worked in a new car dealership over 40 years)
Goodyear devotes there attention for R&D of racing tires and sell a poor quality product to the consumer

I've had really good luck with the Cooper AT3 tires. Last a long time and there price is really good too.

I would echo the negative reviews of the wranglers. They were OEM on my 97 4wd suburban, and I replaced originals with another set. Same issues both times, early cupping which made them noisy, and worn out in less than 40,000 miles, despite my attention to inflation, alignment & rotation. Call me a 2 time loser. I got the next 100,000+ from two sets of Dunlops, of which I would give a decent review. My latest purchase are Cooper HTP's and I am very happy with these. I have over 20,000 on them, including one brutal midwest winter, and I have nothing but praise for them. If rust doesn't do the truck in, I'll buy another set of the HTP's.
A lot depends on how you use tires. HT's are the highway tires, designed to be a decent all season tire and quiet on the highway (which is what I want). HTP is discount tire's private label of the cooper HT's. Jr. works at DT. He sez what GrabberBlu sez "buy the michelins" but I'm too cheap.

I have Michelins on 4 vehicles now and think they are the best value. I have replaced them before the tread wears out just due to age. 70,000 miles is routine. I always replace at 6 to 7 years even if the tread is still good. Only vehicle that does not get good tire mileage is the 436 horse daily driver.

I had those same tires on my 09 Dodge 1500 with no problems and they are currently on my 15 Dodge 1500. I have not experienced any problems driving in rain or extreme heat. I really think problems are associated to how people drive. Just my 2 cents.

I bought wrangler tires for our f250 twice and they were just ok. They seemed to wear out quicker than expected and they became slick in wet weather at about half tread. I'm very satisfied with the Cooper tires that are on it now.

I went with Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/60/20. Way more aggressive, good reviews.

yep i think the wranglers are not going to be good! way too many guys are saying run, just stay away from them! i was going to get a really good deal on a set of 4 with 200 miles take off's but i have my wife and my furry kids in the truck alot and they don't sound even close to being safe enough for them so i think probably coopers or mich are in line next!! it really seems that most of the guys that say run/ do not buy these tires for a truck is the dodge owners.....thanks

I like Michelins. Most of my cars have the LTX MS or MS2's. My work truck has the all-terrain's. They have a good ride and wear well. Hold on to your wallet though $$.

I have almost 50,000 miles on my Goodyear's on my 2005 Ford Explorer Sport-trac and they are wearing great. They were original equipment on this vehicle and when I bought it used with 40,000 they were in fair condition but I made the dealer replace them anyway and with the same tire. My only complaint is they are a bit noisy on pavement but go good on snow and off road. I like them and will buy them again no question.

Firestone's Destination series tires are really good. We've got Destination LEs on the Ranger and after 40k they're still great. Dry/wet performance is everything I'd expect out of a good truck tire, wear is excellent.
