So I am sitting here reading all these replies and checking the message board, when in walks my school principal and checks out my computer screen. He says, what are you looking at? I tell him about this website. lucky I was on my lunch break. WHEWW!!
He is very impressed and is now headed back to his office to log in. Because he is also a car guy.
A bunch of my students that were in here at the time eating lunch, (the boys come in and we talk cars) said coach you dodged a bullet that time.

A guy could get in a whole lot more trouble with some other stuff that comes to mind.

Seriously, this isn't even going to move the meter on the browser monitor. My wife works at a vo-tech school. In a similar situation one of their teachers would probably be commended for teaching his students some outside the box ways to uncover information that isn't readily available and give the kids extra credit. I had a conversation with one of her classes one day over the phone about my 13 second Diesel. Last year one of the other schools in the district put on one of the nicest local car shows I've ever been to, in fact probably THE nicest. It was well thought out, well run, there were a ton of trophies handed out, the kids served food. At times I have hope for the next generation. It seems they aren't all hipster idiots.

We didn’t get you in trouble.......you have to do a better job on not getting caught...

You think we can get you in trouble online, Come out to Montrose Colorado in June. We'll show you what trouble we can really cause!!
Seriously, I'm surprised it isn't blocked on your server. If memory serves me there were a few members on here who had to work around their employers filters to be able to log on from work

Heck, work is about the only time I get on any more.

I share pictures all the time of the cars that you guys post and my students love it. They are always asking about my car and when I plan on driving it to school. I told them the other day I needed to check out the posts on here and not to bother me or I would make them write a compare and contrast paper about Chevy's verses Fords.
I have already this year assigned a research paper about=16px Lee Iacocca.

Fascinating guy. I first read his autobiography when I was about 14. My grandfather had it on his coffee table and I just started reading it.
Another good one is John Delorean. The assignment could be the reasons his personal style made him so successful, but also ensured why he'd never be president of GM.

Most people do not realize that the majority of car companies and car names come from the designers and owners of those companies.
Would your last name make a good car name? Mine would sound funny?

I used to toy with that idea when I was a kid. No, not really. I'd have to create something like KMD where I used it as a initial in an acronym that sounds cool. But, my last name is on a heck of a lot of buses, and it looks good to me!

OHHHH! TK Greyhound,huh?!!

Nah, there's a local bus company owned by a family I'm very distantly related to and we have the same last name. Its K----'s Coaches. They're located somewhere around West Chester PA.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
