I'm about ready for paint on my 66 fastback. Can anyone give me info on a decent paint shop in Dfw. I'm looking to drive my car not a trailer queen. If not in Dfw what did you guys pay for your paint jobs? Mine has no rust just ordinary dents and scratches. No glass, chrome, or interior. What do you think is fair?

Sorry, I don't know any shops that can do a decent job for that money. Most shops are $75-$85 per hour not including materials and paint.

There is a guy in Red Oak that everybody in the local car club uses. He owns a small shop and his name is on alot of cars around here.
I am thinking of having him paint my truck.
I have seen a couple of his jobs in the $3,500 range on cars that were already pretty decent. I would say they are similar to what you had on the Caspian Blue coupe, but may be a little smoother.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
