I had my 68 Mustang coupe driver side floor pan, toe board and torque box all replaced, now I don't know where the dimmer switch and e-brake cable holes go on the toe board, is there a pattern available or anything else available to help me to know where and how to put the holes in the the toe board?

I have a 68 in the shop with the carpets out now, I will get the best I can for you.
These measurement are from the bend in the floor pan where it starts up the toepan, first hole for dimmer is 7 3/4 up from bend and 1 3/4 over from kick panel, you can use your dimmer to locate the top hole. the hole for the e-brake cable is oblong and drilled on an angle, down and to the right, the center for the hole is 10 1/2 up from bend and over 12 1/4 from the kick panel. That is best I can do. good luck

If you still have your carpet, lay that in and at least you’ll have the dimmer switch location.....

Thanks for all of your responses, they were all helpful.

Does the 1968 Mustang floor dimmer switch just screw onto the metal toe board and does the wiring plugs go on the top side of of the dimmer switch? , also I have a newer aftermarket brake booster from 1969 Ranchero, can I install this booster on my 68 Mustang, and if it matters I have front disc brakes and rear drum brakes?

The plug that the wiring goes on, faces the kick panel, and the screw holes are vertical, there is a plastic holder that goes underneath. Don't know about Booster fit, that would be Steve's area.
