Daze,
I think you've done some great work and overall, though different, the new forum is a lot better than the old one, which I liked because it was different without a lot of clutter.
But this one is also nicely clutter free and some of the features you've just posted 'how-tos' on are really useful like:
'go to new posts'
the ability to easily quote previous posts so folks know who you're responding to
the user preferences that members can use to choose certain things to see or not to see - If you like a big long page fulla posts set that posts per page to the biggest number you can find.
Looonng threads are much easier to keep track of.
User list.
Way better search tools.
The PM service is much better too, more like MustangSteve email than the old board.
Anyway, I expect you've put a fair amount of time into this with MS and just wanted to say good'un!
Small tip: to make all the fancy stuff work the best make sure you're logged in when checking things out so the forum can plant the cookies for ya on your 'puter that keep track of where you've been, what you've already looked at, etc.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
