This is totally unbelievable.
Rest assured I did not pay any of that added crap, OR that sticker price!
So far, I have added a folding tonneau cover that looks like it is one piece, fitting flush with the top of the bed, the old rubber mat from my 2005 Ram, and am considering a 2" drop front and rear.
This is so I can haul lots of Mustang parts in total comfort!

Man, I hope you told them to take that stuff off because you could do it for $250! Thats crazy.
Thats a mean truck though.

"That thang gotta hemi?"

Of course it has a hemi. Also 8 speed automatic and a no-spin rear end with 3:92:1 ratio.
I guess "no spin" is Ramspeak for posi.

I would have walked away. End of story

Please do not modify the suspension.

I like how they try to justify the BS by vague statements "peace of mind", "saves money and time", "protection from uv rays" really? That's 2000$ that could have been put toward a turbo on your 68 six banger mustang!

I think on the Mustang forum its Ramspeak for Traction Lock. Posi is Chevyspeak for Traction-Lok. All are different manufacturer's nomenclature for limited slip. Posi has just become the Xerox of the limited slip world; the brand name everyone uses to describe something. Sorry, I'm a stickler for that stuff. Don't call an engine a motor, etc., etc.

Nice looing truck! Good thing you don't live up north, it would be time to change from winter nitrogen to summer nitrogen on the tires. Cost you another $400.

I wonder how many poor suckers actually paid that?
As for the suspension drop, go for it, That is first mod I did to my 010 F150 when I got it, simple mod since its a RWD only
Is your RAM 4WD?

4WD? Rudi....MS lives in Texas. You don't need no stinking 4WD in Texas. Pontoons sometimes, maybe, but not 4WD. Then again, I have seen his driveway and it's pretty steep. And when the leaves are deep and it can get slick.

Most trucks I have seen from Texas have a 6 inch lift and shotguns in the back window.LOL.
Even here in Canada I have no use for a 4WD, the limited slip has gotten me through a lot of snow and never got me stuck.
Here is my F150 before
and after a 1 inch front and two inch rear drop.

Love it...I leased 3 in a row...and not one problem...Rams rock....jj

I probably would have peed my pants from laughing so hard for them to offer me 20 dollars in lug nuts for 500 bucks.

Terry, you must be referring to when Don drives his 66 to my place. He leaves an oil slick everywhere he parks!
I never even saw that sticker on the truck. I never even saw the truck before it was delivered to my house. The local dealer had to go to Houston to pick it up. I was glad to see it had tinted windows when it showed up, but he deal was made before I even saw it, so that window sticker came from the dealer in Houston, not my local dealer.
I cannot believe anyone woukd believe any of that stuff. Kind of like they used to do with scothguarded interiors and pin stripes.

I'd have no problem buying a Dodge Truck, Durango or a Charger. There V6 3.6 Engine is Awesome and gets great gas mileage and a lot of power backed up by there 8 speed transmission. Good Choice MS!

A guy at work must have had a midlife crisis because his new daily driver is the 4 door Ram not with a Hemi but the Cummins. diesel.

So when your nitrogen gets low in your tires - do you pull into the nearest gas station and fill up with their nitrogen hose by the pumps?
$500 bucks to fill your tires - what a crock. Anyone dumb enough to pay that deserves it. I fill tires all the time with nitrogen at work and a bottle sure doesn't cost $500 to fill. I usually fill the tires to 210 psi - a little high for your truck.
Great idea, as there is some logic behind it, but $500???
Offline
Must be organicaly grown nitrogen to cost that much!
Offline
Wild caught, free range nitrogen.
Offline
Anyone can stop by my house, I will gladly put 78% nitrogen in your tires, for half that price.

those prices validate that everything is bigger in Texas......

I prefer Hindenberg brand Hydrogen for my Mustang tires! Really improves the ride quality....feel like you're floating on air! Gas mileage is improved too with as much as a 20% increase on highway use. I have found that braking has suffered somewhat....it just seems to take longer to stop. There is a safety warning though." Driving the car during hot southern summers is not recommended unless....at night when roadway temps drop below 120*".
When checking tire pressure under low light conditions it is NOT recommended to use an open flame when trying to read the pressure gauge.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
