master cylinder

On a `64 Ranchero, which master cylinder should I use for disc/disc manual brakes?

Re: master cylinder

I installed a 2000 v6 Mustang MC on my 63 Fairlane with manual disc/disc. This is the one MS recommends.
havent driven it yet but Im getting a good pedal. only issues are that the ports are on the motor side and they require bubble flairs...both easy fixes.

mc pn: m4029 or 10-2949 (reman)
tank pn: 1r-2949

Yep, that's the one.  To get around the bubble flare issue, buy a stick of tubing at your local auto supply that already has the bubble flares and 10mm threaded tube nuts, then cut it in half to provide the two tubes.  Flare the remaining ends with SAE inverted flares to fit your proportioning valve.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
