Bendix booster rebuild

How do you open a Bendix booster ???....jj

Twist the housing until those crimps line up where it can come apart.  Watch out for rapid spring expansion.  Without a special tool that grips the two halves of the booster can, it is very difficult to twist it.  It only has to move 1/2" or maybe less.


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

 Steve  It's just about impossible to open the damn thing plus it has a broken bolt where the MC mounts and the pedal rod falls out...Found a Cardone rebuilt original 70 Bendix  on line and and grabed it...$129.20 free shipping too...jj
