laying around that they would be willing to part with???

I guess you would have to specify what year and define part with? I have one off my 65 that I have some money invested in. we can prolly come to some sort of agreement. email me

The year doesn't matter as I am not using all the external parts. I am rebuilding the control valve for my 62 Galaxie and the main body has an issue and some of the internals were messed up so I am looking for a core to scavenge parts from. In other words, cheep to free.
this is a great garage point opportunity

ouch! that would hurt really bad, daze . I have about $300 wrapped up in 2 of them. One suggestion maybe contact either Stanger53 or Chockostang!! surely they would have some parts?? I like you and all but, ouch!!

no no its all good. I was not tying to low ball you as soon as you said you had some money in them I knew what you had was not for me. Like I said I am after a good core for parts. Maybe something, used and left over (but still functional) from a rack and piion swap or somthing else that is just kicking around in someones way

thats why I was getting your definition!!! no problem here! i'll get off your post!!

Daze, I might be your huckleberry. Lance gave me a control valve assembly a few years ago when he was cleaning out his garage, and I think I have another one sitting down there too.
I will go dig through my pile of steering parts and take a picture or two of what I have and maybe theres something that can help you out.

Careful Daze, I found out the hard way that not all Galaxie PS valves have the same port layout. We pulled one off a junker, the existing hoses on the car fell right into the ports on the valve, and it worked backward!!!! We had to go back and get the hoses that came withe the valve.

Greg, that would be fantastic. I have been doing some research and I am thinking most for valves even a Granada unit will have what I need so I have lots of options. Worst part is I have parted out two granadas but never thought to take any of the PS parts. Obviously I do not need a drag link, just the main valve body
Need not look anywhere close to that clean

Thanks for the heads up. good news for me is that the ports on the ram are the same size so if something turned out backwards in the vlave all I would need to do is reverse the hoses going in to the ram.

I dug through all my steering parts, all I have is the long part of the body that has the steering ball. The rest is already gone
Sorry.

Daze,
I believe I still have the whole assembly removed a few months ago from a '66 V8 Mustang. It is well used but worked just fine before being pulled. I'll look in the discard box when I get home. Let me know if you're interested. I'm in California but it should fit in a USPS flat rate box. I'll take a garage point for it.
Edit: Can post a pic later if that helps.

bearcat and McStang sounds like you both have what I need. Sense the one McStang has is already out of the car it makes the most sense to me to go with that one.
McStang, a pic would be great. I am thinking it will fit in a USPS priority mail regional box and I can generte a prepaid label in PDF format through my business account and emil it to you , that way all you need to do is tape the label to the box and give it to your postman. Thanks!!!

Daze,
Here's what I've got - plenty greezy... hard to even see where that second or third or return line hose connects... but cheep! PM me and I'll get it in a box. I'll remove some of the 'soil' before sending.
