From your picture it looks like the ID of your muffler bearing is too big for the exhaust tubing coming into the muffler. That's bound to cause problems down the road.
I do agree with you on sauteed vs fried though.

Yeah exactly, 20 years ago you'd have thought someone was putting you on. Ugh, stupid urea injection, though there's another fluid that might work and in so doing save on the water and sewer bill...

Hi , i am doing the same job on my 8 inch .
Truetrac and powertrax use the same spiral gear technology , and as i got to buy any suggestion is welcome .
Powertrax grip pro is cheaper
