Re: Never too late

Very cool!

It's easier to add horsepower than it is to lose weight.

Re: Never too late

My dad died at 97.  If it had not been for metastasized melanoma, he could have been driving that new Mustang today.

Re: Never too late

That's really cool, and what makes it even cooler, that looked to be a stick shift.

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Re: Never too late

SLICK!!!! My dad was born in 1919 too.  He could still "row-a-4-speed" the last time he drove mine!

Re: Never too late

Its definitely a stick.  That's just awesome.  I think there's something in the water in Sweden.  My grandfather had a Swedish friend named Runo who lived well into his '90s.  Probably the most skilled woodworker I've ever seen (I have a gun cabinet he built for my dad).  Great guy, taught me how to properly coil up an air hose when I was a kid, crazy how you still remember stuff like that.

97 years old, but still a kid at heart.  If that's not a goal for everyone; it should be.  You're my hero Lennart!

Re: Never too late

Interesting discussion! Will add this Recently attended my uncle Olen's 95th Fighter Gp. Reunion in San Diago. Seven original P38 pilots were there, all 95 or older. One drove from Arizona to San Diego alone!!! Can you believe that?
