How do you think these will look on my 66 GT coupe? They are originals best I can tell and the chrome is in very good shape. What would be the best way to clean up the natural finish of the insert area? I'm not looking to make them perfect, just real nice driver quality. The insert part is just a little dingy and it appears to have an oxidized film that you can rub off with your finger. This weekend I'll hit them with dish soap and a soft bristle brush, we'll see what that does.

I think they'll look good. Once they're cleaned up and get the right tires on them, it will look sharp.

One of my favorite wheels...I would buy a small hand held media blaster and hit them with a fine aluminum oxide...tape off the chrome first,they should look like new....jj

Those are great looking 69/70 Shelby wheels whether original or repop. Should be 15x7 with 4-1/8" backspacing. I have never measured that exact wheel, but that is what was typically used by Ford on the 69-70 Magnums.
I have run 225x60R15 tires on my 66 with that size wheel and fender edges rolled. I have also used 215x65R15 tires on Cara's 65 coupe, with no issues whatsoever. I think the 215x60R15 tire is the best all around tire size for someone who wants a tire that actually fits the car and doesn't want to have to worry about rubbing or fender cuts on the tire. I guess that would be called "being sensible", which is very easy for me to advise others to do but very hard to do myself!
