aod tail shaft help

tying to find a donor aod for my 65 swap now I find out there are two different tail shaft lengths 10 1/4 and 11 1/4  I have the correct aod t5 drive shaft but I want to be sure I find the correct aod tail shaft so I will work.

Re: aod tail shaft help

The long shaft aod I used in my 66, came from a 1988 Lincoln mark vii. If you want a short shaft look for a mustang or t-bird. With a 5.0

Re: aod tail shaft help

Mine came from an 89 Town Car.  I didn't  measure it but it works fine in our 66.
