V I N location on 65 through 68

understand V I N is on door, on driver side cut out, passenger side under fender, and passenger frame rail.  Any other locations?

Re: V I N location on 65 through 68

VIN locations are on the DS inner fender, visible because of the fender cut out........as you described.
Two other locations are located on the rear inner fenders........can't be seen with fenders installed.
Never heard of, nor seen a VIN stamped on a frame rail..
Door data plate has VIN stamped, as you described

On a '68, in addition to the above locations, the VIN is stamped on a VIN tag that's riveted to the passenger side dash....visible through the windshield.

Google this for pics to use a better reference.......

Re: V I N location on 65 through 68

A '68 coupe was my very first Mustang........purchased then for $400 which was a lot when you're a poor, starving, married, enlisted USAF dude.......loved that car and wish I still had it...post some pics of your car if/when you can.
