Has anyone ever dyed the inside door panels?..This is really anal but , they used the wrong yr. White paint on my Dash , Doors, Qtr. Panels etc. (1969) The panels are the same color white 1965. as the seats 1965. The rest was painted a 1969 white. I covered this before but, have been stewing about it because of the expense of their mistake..They ( painters) are now out of the picture..Soooo , I thought that if I DYE the vinyl door panels the 1969 white, the seats would be all that is 1965 white and it wouldn't be obvious because, of the bright light on them...I know.....What a " fuss budget"..lol..But it's worth the try and it's cheaper. Any advice ??? Prep type etc.

I have done it before with great success. That vinyl spray dye is some good stuff and can be touched up kater if it rubs off. I did not use the prep spray and it still worked great.
I did scrub with Comet first.
