Just when you think he can't top his last video

I wonder what kind of time he could have gotten without all the going around in circles?
Did you see the turbo dumps glowing red?

Smoking the rear tires takes power. Smoking the front tires takes skill
This guy's a lunatic. I've been watching his YouTube clips for years. He looks like he's sitting on the couch playing Pole Position while he's doing this stuff! Another awesome clip!

Cool vid fer sure-fer sure!
I'm not real "heavy" on turbo power butt it sounded like his engine was on the rev limiter A LOT or....was that how the turbo waste gate dumps of excess boost?? Whateverrrrr it was, it sounded ............sorta crackle-eee!!
The one were he does LA is my favorite!!!! The na-na-na-na sound when it was on the limiter,in that one, makes my "inner being" rise!!

On a somewhat related but non-Ford note, I have the pleasure of knowing Frank Peterson from the Denver area. I have had him fabricate a number of suspension pieces for me on my project. In 2016 Frank was tasked with getting a modified 1918 Pierce Arrow back in shape to run in the 100th anniversary of the Pikes Peak hill climb. I was able to see the car when it was up at Frank's shop. Frank has a long history at the hill climb and won the stock class in 1970 in an Oldsmobile sponsored Toronado.
A little background on the restoration is provided in this link -
For those that like a little crackle in the exhaust (Mike), this video shows the car as it prepares to make a test run - a few random flames makes it all the better -
And here is an article about the Toronado - pretty basic interior and controls when compared to that over-powered Mustang!
23 years in Colorado and I have yet to make the race as I always seem to be on the road. Maybe next year...
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
