I believe I saved a copy of that same spreadsheet. If you'll PM me your email address I'll send you a copy.

My advice... You have a car going down the road on a road trip and it is getting you there. ABDFI
It is one thing to not be able to START on a road trip because the car is not back together. Altogether something else to not be able to get HOME...

What size carb do you have? I have a 800 cfm edelbrock with electric choke only two years old hardly been used. The second owner put that on my 65. Buts its way to big if your carb is small I'd be willing to trade.

In this thread there is a link to the spreadsheet as well as the Edelbrock tuning link. Agree with above - thinking it is rich or lean is different than proving it with plugs (harder to read with modern gas) or an O2 sensor. Seat of the pants rarely beats firm data. If you really really have to re-jet, then go in steps and start with the primary since that is where you spend most of the time driving. Verify fuel pressure and float levels but of the two float level will have the larger influence.
The link to the spreadsheet is:

Thanks. Definitely rich. The hydrocarbons will knock you out just walking by. It is amazing the smog Maxis in California never ticketed us leaving a good guys show with one of their laser particulate scouters in unmarked cars. But it makes a lot of power.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
