I am thinking about replacing the tires on my Pontaic Montana with a new set that are already mounted on rims, so I will have a surplus set of GM 115 mm rims with roller tires on them.
I am wondering if I could use them as project rollers for shop movement and paint booth use on a 67 Mustang. The Ford measures at 114.3 mm, so the difference in measurement seems really minor.
Anybody attempted to use GM rims in this fashion? I know the easiest thing to do is just try it, but I have not obtained the new rims & tires yet, and having a use for the old set is influencing my decision.
Thanks

not sure what your use will be "post project", but i have a set of old GM 5x4.5 wheels that i took a carbide burr to, slotted the holes a bit & now have a unilug set of wheels to use as shop rollers that fit most everything that will come into the shop car wise.
