I was wondering if the 2012 gt front brakes will work with a 17 in wheel? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes they will

I used 2004 17" bullitt wheels, and I used 1" spacer/adapters with the 13.2" rotors/calipers. The clearance is very tight. I am doubtful the caliper would clear the inner rim without the spacers since the inside diameter of the rim narrows as it goes toward the center.

Do you have a specific wheel in mind? Part of "work" is whether a wheel will work unaltered, with spacers, or not at all. Given that the 2008's will work with most 17" wheels it might be a better option to go with a known quantity - a smokin' deal on some new car take-offs or used parts may turn sour if the wheel that you really want to use won't fit. I don't think there is enough history at this point to state that all 17's will work on the 2012 brakes.
Thanks for the input! I am wanting to run 17" coys c67 wheels, the eleanor style, with 4.5 inch backspacing. The new take offs are a smoking deal. Maybe it will just be a trial and error fit. If it comes down to it I could just get the older gt caliper brackets and rotors.
Thanks again

I just picked up a set of Coy's a month ago in Denver. The C67 works great with the 2008 brakes - I test fit them - I have built my spindles and mounted the brakes so that one day I can just bolt the spindle in when the car goes back together. I'm not sure if there is a clean way to look at the 2008 clearance to compare. If someone thinks that it will help, I'll mount a wheel and take some pictures.

If you have not ordered your wheels yet, they claim to have new spinners in the works. I got the old style but they said they would change them out when the new ones were available. Just double check if you do order them.
Are you going 8" on all four corners? I ended up getting 8's and 9's which they said would work well on a 67 and up but will require some creative clearancing on my 66. He said that if I didn't get too crazy with tires, rolling the fender lips will work and test fitting looks like I'll be able to make them work.

Also check swap meet page for 12.5" set
