Billet Hood Hinges

Anyone have any experience with Billet Hood Hinges. Looks like Ring Brothers sell a nice set at $640, there are some cheaper one's out there. The springs on my factory hinges are way too strong, afraid it's going to bend the hood.
Thanks.

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

Have you looked into using the same thing they use on the suv rear hatches, etc? My son found a kit for his 04 GT and they work great. I've been thinking about that for my 66.

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

If you are willing to spring for the cost of the Ring Brothers hinges, there is nothing out there as good looking. The last time I looked at them, they had dozens of styles. Good luck making a choice.
