Posting for a friend - '89 5.0L HO engine $ trans

I have a friend up here in Seattle who has an '89 5.0L HO that has all the accessories and an AOD trans attached to it. It is a Mass Flow engine. He just wants to get it out of his garage - the whole package for $150.
I probably should post this in the Swap Meet page, but I don't know who in the greater Seattle area might be looking at that page and I wanted to get the word out to some interested Mustangers.

I will post this and hopefully my email address will show up to members.

I wish I needed it.  At that price if I needed it I would have driven out to Seattle just to get it.

If it isn't broken...modify it anyway! http://www.DazeCars.com https://galaxieforum.boardhost.com

Ron, can you sneak it into the cargo hold of a big jet coming to DFW?

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

Corky - I'm sure if you wanted to volunteer as and old Whaler and former Sandeman, that they would be happy to let you help in their restoration.

Here is a link about the aircraft project  http://www.a3skywarrior.com/whale-rescues/projects/cowtown-a-3.html

Thanks for reposting the ad info. If my car didn't already have the 351W I would jump on it.

I spoke with Bill Mego today. His grandson was at the hangar the Sunday I was there. Bill and I talked for a while. The bird will be restored to the 80's scheme it wore on a round the world flight. The A3 Assn. will meet in Ft Worth 2015. They hope to have it ready then. I will Plan On Being There.
I asked if they were going to have bricks..they haden't thought of them yetlastly, I may have cleared them up on the "Sharkmouth", they kept wondering about. It's not a "sharkmouth". I explained, "A-3's are nicknamed Whales, It's a "Killer Whale" mouth! Had to make sure they knew about Sandeman too.
