1965 coupe stock steering wheel

Replaced my front seats with a pair out of a 2015 Mustang, everything went fine, but the steering wheel is too big and off set too much.  I like the stock steering  wheel, but at 16 inch diameter with a 5 inch offset it's just not going to work, what size and brand have you guys replaced the stock wheel with, I've seen 14 - 15 inch dia and 3 inch to 0 inch offset, what works good and looks good

Re: 1965 coupe stock steering wheel

I've got a 15" Grant on my 66. It's wood and stainless. There's a pic of it in the Pics and History section.

Re: 1965 coupe stock steering wheel

I got sick of looking at the Grant wood/stainless wheel so I went back to an almost stock 66 wheel.   Almost because I reshaped the hub to look right on a 68 column and reduced the diameter to 14 3/4".  With the Fox seats the dish on the 66 wheel is perfect for me.  If you need a bit more distance from the wheel you could buy some 1/2 x 1 1/2 strap steel and make a set of adapters that move the seat back a bit, that's what I did to use the Fox rails.  Or...you can spend $80 and buy some ready-made ones.
