Ran across this recently


A very nice California Special (1968?). I haven’t seen one in years. The only problem I saw was the helper shackles on the leaf springs. Common a while back.


'66 Fastback since July 27, 1981. Springtime Yellow, originally a 200 cu in, 4 speed. Also a '92 LX Coupe, 5.0, 5 speed.

They are in just about every state except California any more.

Assuming its even real.  So hard to tell now because everything is being reproduced.  I will say those tires are impressive!  Imagine the traction they could get right side up!

You know Mike the CS has a spoiler on the trunk lid that generates a tremendous amount of downforce to alow them to do that!
