    What  was that great little tip on how to prevent oil from slinging out of the vent hole in the cover plate?

    Installing the proper gasket should do the trick.  It covers the entire opening on the top of the tranny.

    Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

    ok thanks Steve. ts80108 shows the gasket I installed. It has a bunch of holes in it.
