Almost done installing the Lincoln mk vii rear discs in my '66 coupe using Ultrastang's bracket kit. I have Granada front discs and a maverick master cylinder with the original '66 brake rod.
Since I'm now going to 4 wheel disc without power, until I purchase MustangSteve's booster setup later this year or next, I'm not quite sure how I should setup using a distribution valve, etc. I have the granada distribution valve and an adjustable proportioning valve currently. I snagged the distribution valve off the '89 lincoln mk vii donor car, assuming I cannot use the Granada proportioning valvce, can I use the lincoln distribution valve along with my adjustable valve and the maverick master cylinder? Or is it a must to switch out the master cylinder?

Mav valve would work great as-is. You should not have an adjustable valve in tandem with a stock proportioning valve unless you remove the proportioning function from the factory valve. You do not want two proportioning valves. Check out my Granada brake installation page om mustangsteve.com for how to plumb it.
Unless you race the car on a track, you are not going to notice any difference in any of the valves, but if you put two on it like it sounds like you have, the rears will be severely limited.

I should have double checked before posting... my mistake, I just checked and I have the rear brakes on the adjustable valve coming off the front (smaller) bowl and the front granada discs are just Tee'd coming off the rear bowl on the maverick M/C. Will this still be an okay setup to run with the Mavericak master cylinder for a while?

also, I did read the Granada install page just now - I don't see where it says you can setup this was for 4 wheel manual discs, but I did see the option of Tee-ing off the front brakes from the rear bowl and using my adjustable proportioning valved for the rear brakes (front bowl). I gather there is no diferrence in matter if it is 4 wheel disc or front disc / rear drum setup, this should work fine?
How do you properly adjust the rear brakes using the adjustable proportioning valve?
