Camshaft

Can I put a 351 camshaft in my 302 or 289. If so what do I need to change for it to work good

Yes you can, you just have to change the 289 firing order to the 351's just by moving the wires around. Just to clafiy it has to be a 351W cam, not a 351C or 351/400M

If the engine is a 5.0 then the firing order is the same as the 351.  Ford started using the 351 firing order for the 5.0 in 1982.
