Have any members who bought & installed one of the adjustable PCV valves on the group buy posted their results?
I got one and adjusted it per the instructions, put it in my car and was very surprised at how much it changed the way my engine runs. My idle vacuum went up 3 inches. It idles better and the driveabilty is much improved. I have a Summit 500cfm carb and was able to adjust the idle mixture more effectively and was also able to close down the secondaries that I had opened like MS talks about on the Holley Street Avenger carb.
I have been fighting a poor idle ever since I got this car. Different engines, manifolds and carburetors. The one common thing has been a cheap parts store PCV valve.
While you might think it is crazy to spend $100 for a PCV valve, my experience has been that it was a great investment in increasing the driving pleasure of my car.
.
BTW, I have a 66 coupe, 302 engine built by me to 5.0 H.O specs. GT40 iron heads, factory H.O. cam, flattop pistons. Weiand Street Warrior intake and Summit 500 carb. C4 trans.
I'd love to hear other users comments.

That's great to hear! I've got all three of mine on the shelf still, but hearing that I might toss one in my '67 and see how it does. It generally runs good, but seems at time to drop about 50 RPM at idle sometimes for no reason. When it does this it also runs a tad rough. This issue has persisted regardless of carb or intake on the car. Yet, as you say, the same PCV valve has been in the car the whole time, so I wonder...

I haven't installed mine yet, hearing your experience, I'll get to it soon and post results.

I installed mine and went for a test drive. A terrible noise all of a sudden started and I thought it was the valve so I removed it. The noise turned out to be the AC compressor. I haven't put it back in yet.

Would like to hear more results on the adjustable valves. Who doesn’t need better drivability?

I hope to install mine when we get home from this trip. Hoping it will help or solve the idle issue I have with the cam/heads installation and EFI.
