I just got my centering rings in the mail for my 13" cobra brake upgrade. (from Steve, of course)
I just have a couple of questions....
1) They seem to fit really well inside the set of ford OEM take-off rotors that came off my '04 Cobra.
There seems to be a little more 'play' on the set of new aftermarket rotors that I have for the install on my '67. The play is not real bad, but it is obvious.
Is this a problem?
2) what keeps these rings in place when its all bolted together? The centering rings I have for my rear SVO / MkVii disks have a ridge / lip that keeps them seated up in behind the rotor.
Thanks..

The rings are designed to be a press fit onto the hub. Doing so makes them expand a couple of thousandths of an inch so they will fit fither in the rotor once installed. If they do NOT fit real tight on your hubs, put some RTV behind them. Once the wheel and rotor are bolted up, the cannot go anywhere. But they are designed to fit tight and not be able to move on their own.

Thanks for the tip. I hope to get the install underway in the next couple of weeks.
It's starting to warm up a bit here in IL. I need to get the vert running!!!!
